I have always wanted to go to a drive-in movie theater. So, we finally did it. We took the family to the Sunset Drive-In located in Aurora, Mo and had a blast. The night was perfect and you can’t beat it. $7 per person for two feature films and the concessions were priced so everyone could get all they wanted without emptying their pockets. If you have never done this, you should. Just be sure to ask tons of questions about where and how to park or the security guys will bug you to death. Give it a go, we know you will love it. I took my family to see “The Great Passion Play” in Eureka Springs, Ar. last night. The weather forecast was horrible to say the least. The area was expecting a very bad storm but it didn’t rain until we were leaving the parking lot and then it was only a drop or two. It was so comfortable watching the show and the lightning in the distant background added to the special effects of the evening. It still makes my heart warm watching the play, even after all these years. If you have never seen it, I would suggest you do so. Click on the image to learn more about this wonderful play.
